Yes, a basic Android phone (Android 8 or newer) is needed. The app is designed to work on low-end devices and with limited internet. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use MAKKET.

When a buyer orders from you, you'll get a notification. You confirm the order, prepare the items, and send live photos to the buyer. Once they confirm, a dispatch rider picks up from your stall and delivers to the buyer.

Your payout is processed within 24 hours of delivery confirmation. The 5% platform commission is deducted automatically. Funds go to your registered bank account or mobile money wallet.

MAKKET charges 5% on each sale made through the platform. This covers platform maintenance, buyer acquisition, payment processing, and support. If you don't make sales through the app, you pay nothing.

Keep your product listings updated with clear photos and accurate prices. Respond quickly to orders — sellers with fast response times rank higher in search. Collect good reviews by delivering quality goods. You can also upgrade to Premium for priority placement.

Premium sellers pay ₦5,000/month for priority search placement, a gold badge, and enhanced profile features. To qualify, you need 3+ months of 3.5+ ratings, 80%+ response rate, and at least 10 verified reviews.
